Dr. Mogielnicki publishes widely across research institutes, academia, and international media outlets. His monograph, A Political Economy of Free Zones in Gulf Arab States, was published in Palgrave Macmillan's international political economy series in April 2021. Dr. Mogielnicki is working on an edited volume examining sovereign wealth funds in the Middle East and Asia. He regularly authors chapters in academic publications and publishes analytical reports with Middle East-focused think tanks, research organizations, and consultancies. Dr. Mogielnicki is an official reviewer on the editorial team of the Journal of Special Jurisdictions.

 This is the first book-length empirical study of free zones (FZs) in Gulf Cooperation Council (GCC) countries.
